Chris Boland

Chris Boland enters his 3rd year as the Head Coach of Northeastern Men’s Lacrosse team. Before joining Northeastern University, Chris spent two years as the Head Coach at The University of Southern California. At USC Chris was responsible for turning the program around and developing a winning, well-respected culture in the Southern Lacrosse Conference. In addition to coaching at the MCLA level, Chris has held numerous jobs in the lacrosse industry with companies such as Trilogy and 3d. In those roles, he has had the opportunity to impact and develop the lives of thousands of kids throughout the country.

Chris is originally from Baltimore, MD where he played collegiately at Johns Hopkins University. At JHU he was a 2x captain, all-american attackmen, and national champion. He then went on to play 2 years in the MLL for the Boston Cannons.

Currently, Chris resides in Boston where he works in Development for Legacy Global Sports.

Head Coach

Jeffrey Natter

Jeff has been an integral part of Northeastern University Men’s Lacrosse as a player then a coach since 2008. He began playing lacrosse on Long Island where he helped his high school team win the Nassau County Championship in 2005 while also being honored as all-county goalie. After high school, Coach Natter played a year of Division II lacrosse at C.W. Post University before finishing his playing career at Northeastern University. During his time at Northeastern, he was a two time PCLL All-Star.

Coach Natter brings a lot of coaching experience with him to Northeastern. He has served as a volunteer coach for his high school and has volunteered coaching youth lacrosse for the Charlestown Youth Lacrosse Learning Center. He also served as an assistant coach for the JV lacrosse team at BC High School, helping lead the team to an impressive 15-1 record. Coach Natter has been working on the Northeastern staff since the 2010-11 season focusing on the defensive side of the ball and primarily working with the goalies.

While not coaching, Coach Natter is an educator in the local Boston community teaching middle school science. He is an avid sports fan and dedicated to the game of lacrosse.
